The tools got big. The people got left behind.
We’re a team of industry veterans. Between us we’ve spent years building and living inside email and SaaS tools, and we watched the same thing happen again and again: a tool people loved for being simple kept growing. More funnels, more dashboards, more upsells, more tiers. Every release added something, and the people who just wanted to write to their readers quietly got left behind.
Email marketing doesn’t need to do everything for everyone. Most people don’t want a marketing machine. They want a list, an editor, a send button, and a bill that makes sense. That person stopped being the customer the big tools were built for, so we decided to build for them.
